The Entrepreneurship gap

Right now, 100 million Americans want to quit their jobs and start their own businesses – and that number has been rising for more than two decades. But while 70% of the American workforce wants to be self-employed, only 7% is – and that number has been falling for more than two decades.

Despite all the current talk about the gig economy, the widening gap between entrepreneurship and employment in America is the largest in history.

Each year, more and more Americans want to start their own business. And each year, fewer and fewer do.

For most, the American Dream will always be just a dream.

In the last 100 years, American entrepreneurship has decreased by two-thirds.

With very few exceptions, self employment has decreased every year since the baby boom of the late 1940s.

The solution to this problem is surprising and counterintuitive. During this one hour talk, Tra reveals that the key to reigniting the spirit of American entrepreneurship doesn’t lie before us, but is hidden behind us.

This fascinating keynote is the companion to Tra’s upcoming book, Boss Brain. It exposes the hidden reasons for the decline of American entrepreneurship and empowers attendees to join Tra on his mission to reverse this trend.
